Glenridge is characterized by its diversity, inclusivity, and sense of community. Our neighborhood is made up of people of all ages, from young families with children to retirees, and everyone in between.
One of the defining features of this community is the close-knit relationships that exist between neighbors. This sense of community is reflected in the many events and activities that take place throughout the year, including block parties, picnics, and holiday celebrations.

The multi-generational nature of the community is evident in the variety of housing options available, ranging from mid-to-large, single-family homes (Barrington, Glenridge, Huntscroft) to our cluster home community (The Gables). This range of options makes it possible for people of all ages to find a home that meets their needs.

In addition to housing, community amenities include a large pool area with an adjoining playground, a sand volleyball court, and picnic area. For young families, Glenridge is close to numerous parks and playgrounds where children can play and explore. For older residents, our neighborhood is near community centers, libraries, and other facilities that offer a range of programs and services.

Glenridge is conveniently located near the many local and national businesses that are part of Winston-Salem's thriving community, This includes grocery stores, restaurants, specialty shops, major retail stores, two large hospitals, and several universities. Often called "The City of the Arts", Winston-Salem is home to a vibrant arts community with many opportunities to enjoy and participate in music, theatre, visual arts, movies, and dance. Glenridge is particularly known for its neighborhood school zone with Jefferson Middle School within walking distance, Jefferson Elementary, and Mt. Tabor High School.
